I came up through the Navy doing information assurance and network defense. Since then I've spent twenty years in enterprise IT and the MSP and MSSP world, working everything from infrastructure to security operations, cloud security, and AI guardrails.
Today I run an information security program day to day. I focus on practical security, automation, identity, and visibility. I also help teams adopt AI without losing control of their environment.
I'm pretty laid back, I keep it straight, and I've got zero patience for good tools being used to mask bad judgment.
